What ARE YOU getting YOURSELF for CHRISTMAS?

Bill, if you'd have stuck around on a thread long enough - after making a tit of yourself - you may have seen the reasons why its gonna be wall mounted. It isn't at the moment.

Actually, i've got some hand drawn sketches of the bedroom / new layout. Fancy earning yourself a bit of pocket money over xmas?

If not i'll cad them up myself.

PinkPonce Posted on 03/12/2008 15:56
What ARE YOU getting YOURSELF for CHRISTMAS?

AG - yeah i will. The ones i've been looking at are all 1080p.

Rubber - "to be fair i thought about 47inch because thought it might be a bit too big - but for the same price i may as well upgrade a bit more.

I think the words "but for the same price" are particularly important here.

Why you try to live up to this "comedian" tag I don't know. I think its a hinderence. Just be yourself FFS. And if that is yourself, get help.

FFS you live in a new build flat, not a friggin stately home.

PinkPonce Posted on 03/12/2008 16:03
What ARE YOU getting YOURSELF for CHRISTMAS?

Lizards,

Answer me this - If YOU were completely moving your bedroom around, new bed, new fitted wardrobes, chests of drawers would you not at first plan it out to make sure a) it all fit, b) there was adequate room and c) it looked half decent?

The CAD line was just showing Bill that I can do his job as well.

The_Lizards_Jumpers Posted on 03/12/2008 16:06
What ARE YOU getting YOURSELF for CHRISTMAS?

Ponce,

I rennovated an entire house, and only needed to produce plans like that in order to satisfy the building reg's people.

To put some new wardrobes and drawers in doesnt require detailed plans using AUTOCAD.

PinkPonce Posted on 03/12/2008 16:07
What ARE YOU getting YOURSELF for CHRISTMAS?

Onan, yeah i'll be keeping my eye on Dixons and try to get Currys to price match.

I did the same last year with Dixons Tax Free. They had the Black 2.2Ghz 160gb Macbook in Heathrow for 807.00 but were out of stock....that was my christmas present to myself. It was 950.00 in Currys, PC world etc.

I went into Currys this time last year and said i'd give them 807.00 for it. Got it for 850 about 3 minutes later.

100 off in a matter of minutes. I'll be doing the same this year.

PinkPonce Posted on 03/12/2008 16:09
What ARE YOU getting YOURSELF for CHRISTMAS?

That wasn't the question. Here...

"If YOU were completely moving your bedroom around, new bed, new fitted wardrobes, chests of drawers would you not at first plan it out to make sure a) it all fit, b) there was adequate room and c) it looked half decent?"

If you wouldn't sketch it out then you're a fool. And i won't repeat the line about CAD...

wilkos_perm Posted on 03/12/2008 16:18
What ARE YOU getting YOURSELF for CHRISTMAS?

i think to say you'd be a fool not to sketch it out is a bit much. Measure size of room, get furniture measurements. Job done.

The_Lizards_Jumpers Posted on 03/12/2008 16:18
What ARE YOU getting YOURSELF for CHRISTMAS?

There is absolutley no need to "sketch it out" using a bit of imagination and a tape measure you can visualise it quite easily.

We were also doing it on Victorian rooms which are a lot less easy to work with than the new build shoe box that you live in.

Besides which, if you use a decent fitted wardrobe company they'd do all that for you.

Oh and by the way, you've failed to respond to my point about your previous lying.

You claimed you'd never wear braces on trousers with belt loops, yet the leaked Facebook photos show you doing just that.

You're both a liar, as well as a poor dresser.

Critical_Bill Posted on 03/12/2008 16:24

Small room layouts might as well be drawn by hand, if indeed they need drawing.

PinkPonce Posted on 03/12/2008 16:48
What ARE YOU getting YOURSELF for CHRISTMAS?

FFS...[:D] I'm circa 250 miles away from my bedroom and tape measure. I'm sorry but it would be difficult to "imagine" the layout and to be comfortable with it without a few sketches.... I can't believe you wouldn't do a few sketches? Especially if you know the dimensions etc?

I know exactly how many wardrobes I want, where I want the chests of drawers. I make the decisions not the bloke who works for sharps. So i tell him what I want (which I know looks ok because of my sketches) and he gives me a 3D drawing...

They install. I pay them some money. job is a good one. I've got better things to do with my weekends than sit in furniture stores whilst a salesman tries to squeeze in another pointless set of drawers.

As for your other comment. I've wore braces for years. I have trousers with belt loops i have some without. I don't mind wearing "off the shelf" suits for work - and prefer braces to a belt. I've no problem with that, Gok.

You'll always be Ginger at the end of the day.

I've really upset you today haven't I mappy...

Painful reading isn't it - seeing us as the 12th best team in the country...

I do more on my weekends that you could EVER imagine - things you could only dream of doing... Starting with Middlesbrough games.

Tell me - and i'll keep this easy for you as I know how you struggle - how was your weekend on here?

You're an old man, boxing above his weight. I told myself after the "Keegan the Numbers" thread that i'd take it easy on you. I'm trying to. I promise.

just got a 50 inch`er PP a few weeks ago looked at the Samsung, nice but i felt the LG`s picture was slightly better so got the LG. its very close but the LG has the better picture, slightly less pixely when watching football or fast changing pictures. both have very similar spec and price though. nice glossy black finish aswell! looks smart.

oh and for the people saying why would you want a 50" tv taking over your room bla bla bla......

A. coz i can!
B. because some of use have sensible size rooms and not live in inglbyrabbithutch`s....

1) They're called "off the peg suits"

2) I've no issue with you making sartorial mistakes, such as wearing braces with belt loops. It's just that when I pointed out how wrong it was before, you claimed you didnt do it, you lied as I've since seen a photo of you doing it.

3) Resorting to ginger gags shows you've lost it, I could make fun of your spotty clock, but I wont.
