| Boro v geordies penalties | |
With the geordies at work complaining about last nights penalty decision it made me think "what goes round, comes round" and mentioned the penalties at the Riverside. I can remember when Schwarzer was sent off and a penalty awarded. In the same game Given (I think) upended Ince and stayed on the pitch only to save the penalty. I'm a bit hazy on this and no one else seemed to remember, so is that how it happened? And don't get me going about the Ronaldo non penna, "it was intent" and the one Gook should have had against Manure.

There was a defender on the line when Ince got fouled, therefore Given wasn't the last man and only got a yellow. Referee that day made the right decision. Last night was a penalty. You can't go through a player to get the ball, its a foul. Although it was minimal contact, Feye made contact with the striker BEFORE playing the ball. Styles made the right decision. Tell your cack-handed skunk workmates to stop moaning (and buy some soap).
