A note to ex-pats in Australia that the blokes from Eston who dug out the ore that made the Sydney Harbour Bridge are heading to Oz this Summer on film and hopefully Auckland NZ too! For those who dont know, A CENTURY IN STONE is the story of Eston iron miners and the birth of Teesside. It is a 2 hour epic that sold out Teesside pubs and clubs and then the UGC multiplex in the Boro. It also beat Harry Potter on video and became Teesside's best seller! The DVD is out soon. No Oz dates or venues are set up yet but we will hopefully announce them soon. The first box of DVDs gets cracked open after the movie on Fri April 29th at UGC M'bro. It'll be in the shops after the cinema re-run, which could last a week or two or three.... all details on website | |
