See Gazette's new campaign...some might say..."its a cultural lobotomy by stealth...a name invented by a bunch o suits who wanted to justify their existence because the previous shower tarnished the good name of Teesside name losing £32 million quid and leaving Teesside as barren as they found it but with a couple of self-congratulating monuments, see one near the riverside..." i say show me a valley and i'll show you at hill at haverton! what say you the people??? | |

Tees Valley - That's up at Teesdale isn't, greenfields, sheep, trees, clean water, scattered country cottages. TEESSIDE - now that represents a steel industry, terraced houses, council estates, chemical works, smoke, proper working mens clubs, proper pubs and proper beer, grit, solidness, toughness, working against the elements, comradery, having a laugh, openness, passion, football and where most of us were born.
