July 77...yes, i was working for german tv in london in 96 and i had to get some footage form the BBC archive so i blagged a copy of that TOTP. The top 30 rundown has the pistols stranglers etc amidst the likes of Rita Coolidge, Baccara etc...hilarious. | |

Saw The Saints at The Garden too. If memory serves Blitzkrieg Bop supported. The JT and Heartbreakers gig in the crypt in Oct that year though will always be one of my fav nights. The Models cutting their set short, and S and The Banshees being really poor, it looked like it was going to be a bad night. Johnny Thunders blew me away that night. One of the best sets I've ever had the pleasure of. | |
