not sure where, always welcome to suggestions, i have a few ideas but its all about booking some. It was mentioned you can book the pitches the academy use at rockliffe for £50, so that might be worth looking into assuming we get there interest | |

No I got kicked so that Id give it back. Ok, I got an answer sooner than I thought. the problem we have is, which ever location we choose, its not going to be ideal for everyone. Conyers is situated far side of Yarm, not too far from Ingleby, and easy to get to from Acklam, but people who live in Redcar etc its quite far are there many who would struggle to get to conyerS? | |

First of all, they wud have let us book a grass pitch but with it being summer there are NO goal posts up. If we were to book it then it would cost £25 minus goal posts. Otherwise the other offer was if we went on the SUNDAY, they have an offer of a £1 a player, but thats only on the astroturf. If it's not too hard to organise I'd like to be against a fast team of forwards. Two years ago I was rather pacey but got a bad ankle injury, was out for 7 months, and haven't really got it back. It was my aim to get it back this summer. I haven't really started yet. So I want to be worked hard in this game. I want to FEEL THE BURN. | |

Pitch is £70, which comes out at about £3.20 a person, but if we book it for the Sunday its £1 per person, so if we have 11 v 11 its £22, its some sort of special offer. If you want the pitch then can you please book it, I dont want to discuss my money but Im not even in a position to put down a deposit and especially not pay the full price. | |

the refs a mate of mine, he offered to do it as he enjoys reffing, hes been doing it for years. When refs are doing local league they dont have linesman they just have to judge themselves so thats how it will be, ive told him no cards tho | |

Esky, looking at the positions list you`ve got yourself as an attacking midfielder. Attacking midfielders don`t hog the line playing in advance of the forwards. That position is known as goalscrounger. If we struggle for keepers I think you should put Skeelo in there. I don`t know about 11 a side but he stopped some good shots today. | |

I`m wondering how many of these players have played 11 a side in the past. In case your wondering why I`m asking it`s because I don`t want to see a swarm of people chasing a ball looking like schoolkids. Every position holds it`s responsibilities, i.e. TRACK YOUR MAN AND WORK BACK. Your man may get past you, that doesn`t give you an excuse to stop or walk, chase them. Esky if someone says they`re not happy in the positions you`ve picked tell them to shutthefuckup. They shouldn`t have written it as an option. Keepers - chboro, right backs - capio, the_J left backs - stepper t, SmogOverOmrmesby centre backs - , LisbonLegend, boro85, stephen1986, apl left wings - ive_lost_me_Flag, pjacks right wings - andrewmitchel7, mfc_paul Centre mids - boro_daley, borodrew, boro_lee Attacking mids - A_New_Era, captain, Bandito strikers - anybody4aBeer, rayparlourfanclub, the broken fridge had to move apl in defence as we are one short and hes only midfielder who stated we would play anywhere, so for now hes in defence. Obviously main concern is we are now one keeper down | |

We desperatly need this keeper situation sorted. Fridge can your brother definatly play on saturday? If so we may need to drop a player to the bench to accomodate him, however harsh that may be we do need 2 keepers. If we did this totally at random would everyone be happy with that? | |

Random draw has taken place, and in the absense of a lovely assistant to pick our victim, i drew "the_j" out of the marvellous mp3 player bag. Therefore i apologise "the_j" but you are now on the bench, and fridge's brother can come into the team and we have two proper goalkeepers (providing you can class ch as a 'proper' goalkeeper). If I may just make one suggestion, when we use the rolling subs, if a left midfielder wants a rest but you prefer to play right back, just go to left mid and stop moaning, its not the world cup final . | |
