He's done a runner - appears on MSN messenger for 2 secs and then disappears again. Not responding to emails, lost his mobile etc etc. Or maybe after 25 years he's finally got sick of me..... Where are Cud playing? I'm sure Jimmy will be up for it if I do get hold of him. | |

It's very exciting. They're bringing out a double compilation CD on 7 August. Wonder what they'll be like live after all this time? The word shambolic springs to mind.

Get yourselves tickets for the London gig, it'll be great. I left it too late for Leeds and it's sold out now but I've got them for Newcastle on the first night. Do you think poor Carl will still be greeted with cries of "You fat b stard!"? | |

FW2 - he still appears on MSN messenger for a couple of seconds now and then with that address, but he's not replied to mails I've sent in the last two weeks or to other people I know have mailed him. I'll try his other halfs German mobile and his parents, this evening. I'll update here if I do make contact. Only pulling yer leg about the pool matey! Gaz moved on to pastures new about a year ago. He had become a reformed man and managed to curb his wild ways. He virtually gave up the booze and that made a big difference. We got into playing a fair bit of squash together before he left. As for me, I'm trying to get fit for the Great North Run. Are you still doing any running? | |

The latest from the Cud camp: went to see them last night and they were FANTASTIC!. No Dunphy, but the others were all there - and they seemed genuinely overwhelmed at the response from the fans. Played a storming set, basically just a greatest hits (yes yes, all you Philistines out there, I know they never had a 'hit' as such...) but they sounded really good.
