re: FAO The London Boys

Make sure you do Lizard.

I phoned the park to book a pitch and was informed that they don't do football until September, it's only cricket and baseball at the moment. I mentioned to him that there were hundreds of people playing football there the last 4 times I walked through the park to which he replied "well the police will move them if they're irritating the cricketers and baseballers". So we're on, no need to book or pay, we'll just grab our share of the park and plant our Boro flag down.

They do Sports pitches Salt but footy isduring the winter months. It's looking like jumpers/cones unless someone can get hold of a goal. We can move to a proper pitch with goals next week if the numbers are good.

The_Lizards_Jumpers Posted on 1/8 15:27

"less fortunate brethren?"

Think of that when you're trying to buy a pokey cardboard box, whilst they reside in their luxury mansions in Cheshire, for about 1/2 what you paid for your shoe box.

We're gonna need a massive area or it will be completely congested, nobody has played football with each other before.

6 or 7 a side is spot on.

From ST Johns wood station - Walk left out of the station (past the abbey road cafe) and take your first right, walk to the end of the road (post office on your right) and take a left. Walk past tesco on your left and take a right past starbucks (St Johns wood high street). Take your first left on to Allitsen Road (my street) and take your 2nd right. Wlka to the end of the road and over the canal and you're in the park. Keep walking and you'll see all the sports fields in front of you.
