Invitation? My mate, who I known since our Boro High School days over nearly 40 years ago, has just been round for a chat. We were talking about school dances and local gigs at the youth clubs and he mentioned the group Rivers Invitation. Fook me I'd all but forgotten about them. Seemed like they were appearing somewhere local every night during the late 60's early 70's - Dave Coverdale fronted for them before they went on to be the Fabulosa Brothers. Jeez - happy days! | |
