I'm looking to set up a photoblog (tried a free one but isn't quite what I want) so need to purchase some web hosting. I'm going to be using pixelpost for the photoblog application and the System Requirements needed are as follows: ---------------------------------- Apache Webserver or Windows IIS PHP, version 4.3.0 or higher PHP with GD-lib 2 (packaged with jpg-support), required for thumbnailing MySQL version 3.24.58 or higher ---------------------------------- Anybody doing anything similar and can point me at an appropriate hosting site. cheers | |

Can recommend 1 and 1, as long as you aren't likely to need tech support, as they are a bit rubbish (and from Bangalore). | |

Streamline.net are cheap. About 3.50 per month if you pay for 2 years plus you get a .co.uk domain. They have a 30 day trial which you can cancel so why not try it. They do all of what you need but I am not sure about gd-lib2 but you could at least test that in the 30 days. 1and1 are a nightmare for support too. | |
