| Kursaal Flyers at the Town Hall | |
Anyone catch the programme on BBC4 last week about being on the road with the Kursaal Flyers shot in 1976 which included a gig and backstage at the Town Hall. Just wondering if anyone knew who Anita was who worked at North Ormesby Hospital who clearly was going to give it up for the drummer even though her boyfriend was sitting next to her. I saw it the other night and first time around, i was also at the rather good concert at the town hall. I sadly know nothing of anita who worked at Doggy Hospital other than she was more than willing to park the status quo feller look alike ( who used to get on the Q bus at the top of grassington rd,) and hop on drummer and now respected rock journo Will Birch | |

Thanks for that UH. Did the beardy lad actually have the cheek to play a banjo solo at the Town Hall? I'd love to have seen a crowds response to that. As for Anita she was a game girl, and to think she might have had her hands on my file and glanced longingly at the notes about how brave I'd been having my appendix out the year before. | |
