This album hasn't been out of my cd player since I bought it the other day it's amazing. It rocks as much as the first album but musically more upbeat, the lyrics are more political at times. Some of Morello's guitar work is awesome, at times he sounds like he's scratching on decks, loads of hip hop like guitar effects, don't have a clue how he gets his guitar to sound like that but no one plays the guitar like him. Cornell's vocals are top class as ever and lyrically superb as usual. This is their best album to date, just hope I manage to get tickets for the tour that should be coming up. | |

Cornell is tenfold better in Audioslave than in Soundgarden. His vocals on this album are alot clearer than the first, but still retain that same Audioslave sound, its a toss up between Revelations and the self titled album for me, didn't rate Out Of Exile at all. As for Revelations, Broken City and Sound Of A Gun are my favourite tracks. | |
