DrBuck, I'm not certain it's not a myth. However, a lot of bands do claim less sinister meaning to their lyrics to avoid controversy. It's the 'pulsing through my vein' line mainly but there are others which suggest it's a drug reference. Also the Mavers recreational habits at the time would suggest so too. I'll have a google and see. The pixies claim alternately that Here comes your man is about an earthquake too. | |

Going on a slightly different angle, Vodafone started using Another Girl Another Planet by The Only Ones for one of their recent adverts. Someone must have tipped them off, as now Pete Perrits vocals have been removed, and they just play the instrumental bit. | |
