There is an operation that you can get. Surgery to reduce the size of that piece of flesh which falls down yer throat when yer asleep. | |

DR the snoring already is her problem, she has kicked you to the couch, snoring is natural human function don't let her victimise you. If snoring was more a female infliction than male there would be a national campaign to stop discrimination. Like I said get her some ear plugs. After a week, she’ll be used to them. | |

Want the answer? I have it, I had a real snoring problem, threatened my relationship and now I'm cured. Advice doesn't come cheap, but its available, as is the cure! | |

I had an operation to cure mine. laser Palatoplasty (sp?) Mind it wasnt just snoring, I would also stop breathing about 50 times a night. had the op a couple of months before the Infirmary closed, and I have been Ok since, although it hurt like a baastard for a couple of weeks | |

Sorry mate. Yeah I had my uvula removed, my tonsils removed, and a couple of slices of my palette removed. All stitched back together nice and tight - no snoring! All done private (insured) - one night stay, but bill would of been about £2000 I believe. Oh and the girlfriend loves it! | |

A company called sleep pro (check web) do a device you can wear its like a gum shield (cost £35) and can stop your chin dropping when asleep. Its not guaranteed but they are very confident it helps most people. When your chin drops the air flow changes in your throat and the membranes are relaxed which causes the snoring. The problem is made worse if overweight and drink. People can have blocked sinuses and flabby membranes which make it worse too. | |

I've tried that spray. I asked the missus what the snoring was like during the night, she said it was like the feckin' Flying Feckin' Scotsman going through a feckin' tunnel !!! | |

attach pegs to the back of your jimjams, this will stop you sleeping on your back, problem solved. If you snore on your side/front you are a freak of nature. | |
