But that's what I like about it! Your reply made me realise why I have avoided games all these years, they're too much like hard work. Second Life is exactly that, it's a second life, but online. I have read an article on it and the prediction is that it will eventually become almost reality, like in the film Existenz. | |

You interact with whoever is there. You explore. You can buy and sell things. You can buy land and build a house. You can (ahem) have sex (but you have to buy a penis first). You can set up a business. Apparently there are 20,000 people in the real world already making a lving out of trading in their Second Life. | |

So you have a second life that is totally immersive but strictly non-contact. Is your 1st life really so dull that your prefer the virtual one? | |
