There's still some worrying things about yesterday's performance, for one Davies looked totally out of his depth against a quicker, trickier winger for the second week running as did Taylor, we only got more solid on the left when we moved Poggi over there. Cattermole isn't a right winger so cuts inside sometimes leaving us without width when he does, Jason Euell is an honest hard working player but can't hit a cows @rse with a banjo, he's getting into positions but really needs to start taking some of his chances. I'll let Viduka off this time with him having an injury but his all round play this season has been poor. Anyway, I did enjoy the game yesterday despite the above whinge but we've got an awful long way to go before we can call ourselves a good side. | |
