Guess the Footballer.

A trivia game if anyone fancies it.

RULES:

1. You must provide 5 facts about your chosen footballer. Make it as easy or as hard as you like. Make them serious, make them funny, even make them interesting - it's up to you.

2. The player must have played in the Premiership/old First Division OR have at least 10 international caps for his country.

3. Each contestant can only have 1 guess for each player - use it well.. Edited posts will result in automatic disqualifcation from the current question.

4. The contestant who guesses correctly then takes over and produces his own 5 facts on a new player.

5. Keep a running tally. See who is the board smart arse.

6. Even if you know you have the correct answer, do not ask another question until it is confirmed that you are actually correct. This will ensure only one live question at any time.

To kick it off.

1. He played for an english youth team but he's not english.
2. He has several top english league and cup winners medals
3. He has never played for the full english national team
4. He scored in his english club debut against Everton
5. He scored in a winning FA cup final

dogzdik Posted on 25/10 22:17
re: Guess the Footballer.

Gibbos, the clue says:

1)He played over 50 times for his country

so 70 odd appearances meets that one.

GibbosEmpire Posted on 25/10 22:18
re: Guess the Footballer.

Thats not fair tho.Theres thousands and thousands of players that have had over 50 caps for his country.Be more specific.

flakey_scrotum Posted on 25/10 22:37
re: Guess the Footballer.

there aren't thousands of players with over 50 caps.....scored in group stages of world cup....relegated with 1st English club and promoted with 2nd English club.....then played abroad.....you need to think......it can be narrowed down quite easily but it does need some thought!!!!

you need to link some of the clues together.....50 caps...group stages.....
