| Get a grip | |
Gibson to move on? Lets go along with this lunacy that's been suggested for on this board for one minute. Who is going to buy us? When Gibson took over us we were lower reaches of the first division and without his money that's where we'd be now. Our fanbase is that of a lower mid table Premiership club so not enough money coming in to justify a Roman Abramovich type billionaire. It amazes me that some fans think like this, I've heard "we deserve better then the crap we're getting" said quite alot. Exactley what have we done to deserve better? Anyway back into the real world, Gibson may have made a mistake with Southgate, how about judging at the end of the season? Changing managers all the time doesn't work. --- Post edited by Cobain_94 on 7/11 20:08 ---

Gibson is the best chairman in the country. Such a pity that some of the idiots on here are so blinkered and short sighted to realise it.

Gibson has been a great chairman for us but he shouldn't be above criticism when he drops a boll~ck. Anybody saying he should move on is full of sh~t however. --- Post edited by Bukowski_MFC on 7/11 20:22 ---

It's too early to tell if he's dropped a b_llock though.

I know we should never have sold Bellamy, there is a lot we shouldn't have done, or should I say that usless fat w****r in charge shouldn't have done..

I don't think it is too early. We could have kicked on this season and built on last season's exploits. Instead we appear to have taken one almighty step backwards.

Sacking managers after 11 games is what Newcastle do. It doesn't work, if you don't give anyone a chance how will you know if you made the right decision or not?

| re: Get a grip | |
we've got the defence and strikers to be up the top half of the table. but our midfield is poor and cant dominate games. plus we have too many over rated coaches who havent a clue how to coach players into attacking.

Who's saying sack the manager? I'm not but I don't think he should have been appointed in the first place.

He may have dropped a bolllock, but his heart and soul is in the club, how many other Chairmen could you say that about?? Let's hope he doesn't walk out on the club and sink his money into the Jawdees up the road (who would worship him like a god by the way).

His heart and soul is in the club but if I think he has dropped a boll~ck then I have a right to point it out. What is the matter with some people?

I didn't think he should have been appointed either and said in the summer I had strong reservations but he was so at least give him a chance. For all the heroic defensive displays Southgate's put in since he joined us he deserves that much.
