Mine's been on pre-order since they announced the UK release date. I understand some people have had emails from Play saying they're going to miss out. Amazon UK have not yet started to take pre-orders. So you might get lucky there. --- Post edited by YodaTheCoder on 15/11 16:34 --- | |

Got mine pre-ordered from Gameplay.co.uk Still not convinced by the quality of the lanuch titles though and worried about how much the controllers are going to hurst my arms after a while. Apart from that I can't wait

Red Steel and Zelda are the two I'm intending to get on launch day. From the promo stuff I've seen they look as good as I've come to expect from Nintendo. Can't wait. Taking the day off work :) | |

I don't mean to rain on your parade Wendy, but an accepted preorder doesn't mean you'll get the console. Nintendo have said there'll be limite numbers for launch day so I won't take anything for granted until I have my hands on one. Not saying you won't get one, just don't make any promises that Amazon can't deliver. | |

i was in woolies today, and they seemed to be pretty confident they would have plenty of stock for xmas.yesterday nintendo said they had upped production of the wii and expected to ship 4 million units to europe before 8/12. | |

Nintendo will be shipping 4 million worldwide by the end of 2006. Europe will be lucky to get more than about 600k according to most estimates at launch. I've had mine pre-ordered at Comet for a while (had vouchers to spend) and I'm pretty confident of getting one at launch. My main concern is whether there will be a shortage of games or accessaries. | |
