zoec Posted on 15/12 14:36
re: FAO Piggy....

Did you find your own donkey in the end, LL? I would imagine Piggy would have had problems getting it through customs anyway.

re: FAO Piggy....

Still mulling over the new job decision.

The current place has offered me flexible working, i.e if I want to come home for 10 or 12 days in a row each month I can, a big rise and a job in Bonn when this one finishes next summer.

I know I should stay but I've got itchy feet. Still cant make my mind up. My flight to Kazakhstan is booked for Jan 11th and I still dont know if I will be on it.

re: FAO Piggy....

I hope you're at least this decisive when you're actually doing the job.

Lisbonlegend Posted on 15/12 14:43
re: FAO Piggy....

zoe, I did, the donkey will carry the kit for my imaginery football team.

Decisions decisions piggy....Just follow your heart. Will you be home for Xmas?

re: FAO Piggy....

In deliberately not Capt. Non-committal vagueness is my forte.

I offer balanced advice which usually consists of telling them that whichever option they take, they are fooked.

re: FAO Piggy....

I must have missed the donkey thread.

Yes, fly into manchester 22nd for Morrissey, back to Teesside 23rd.

Rtn to spain 3rd, Real Madrid game that weekend and then maybe back to uk 9th for a kazak departure on the 11th.

re: FAO Piggy....

Not sure what zoe meant there, piggy. Unless hse thinks that I'm Jesus.

You organising any footy whilst you're home?

piggy_nichol Posted on 15/12 15:13
re: FAO Piggy....

I think that we will try and have a game at goals on the morning of christmas eve if its open and then after that I dont know.

Maybe the morning of new years eve might be worth trying.

I'm happy to play most days. I'll be going to all the boro games but with the exception of the two away games it shouldnt be too difficult to squeeze an hour in.

What about yourself, how long are you back for?

Well we should sort a game for sometime between the 27th and 29th and then go for a drink.

All those cheese and crackers cant be good for you.

zoec Posted on 15/12 15:28
re: FAO Piggy....

Sorry, LL - a case of mistaken identity (although you can't blame me, all of you).

Lisbonlegend Posted on 15/12 15:59
re: FAO Piggy....

Good stuff Piggy, let me know if you sort something.

No worries zoe. Are you up to anything exciting this weekend?

zoec Posted on 15/12 16:02
re: FAO Piggy....

Works Christmas party tonight and going to see my grandmother tomorrow. Lucky me.

What about you?

re: FAO Piggy....

Will there be many at your works Xmas do? Does your gran live nearby?

Not much zoe, thanks for asking. Staying in tonight, I might try and make the natural History Museum tomorrow and footy for Middlesbrough Supporters South against Hibs on Sunday afternoon. Fulham match on Monday which should hopefully be good.

zoec Posted on 15/12 16:09
re: FAO Piggy....

She lives a couple of hours away, unfortunately. It would be nicer if she were further away....

I'd rather have your weekend.

re: FAO Piggy....

Poor granny!

Feel free to come along....

zoec Posted on 15/12 16:17
re: FAO Piggy....

Poor granny, nothing. One of her favourite pastimes when I was little was locking me in the shed if I annoyed her (which was quite often). As mentioned before, I once forgot her birthday so she sold my bike and bought herself a present with the proceeds. No wonder I turned out the way I did...

Lisbonlegend Posted on 15/12 16:19
re: FAO Piggy....

LOL! Is she related to Vinny? Sounds like a scene from misery!

re: FAO Piggy....

Now that you are big though it could be payback time.

Lock her in the shed and sell her telly to buy a new bike.

zoec Posted on 15/12 16:27
re: FAO Piggy....

You know, that's not a bad idea, piggy. Maybe this weekend won't be a dead loss after all....

Anyway, it's my little lad I feel sorry for. You can see the horror on his face when he's told to give his great grandma a kiss.

piggy_nichol Posted on 15/12 16:33
re: FAO Piggy....

Yes, but just imagine his little face lighting up when you tell him that this time you are going to put great granny in a sack and take her to the baths.

re: FAO Piggy....

I think I'll get a Jalfrezi tonight.
