Just a few thoughts after seeing another thread. How can dole money get paid into a dole wallah's bank account? How can a dole scrounger open a bank account? What if he/she doesn't have or want a bank account? | |

drbuck - you OBVIOUSLY have never had to sign on, I think its a bit rich to call people scroungers, who may have had the misfortune of losing their jobs. Not a lot of thought for ther unemployed in your book then? | |

ive been on the dole once and it was hard to get a job but i tried my best and within a month i had one theres people who go in there who look drugged up with 3 kids claiming for benifits who really should just try and get a job.. IMO | |

I am on the dole, as I was made redundant for the 2nd time in 2 years fuckwit. I spend pretty much all of my day looking for a job. Being unemployed is not a place I enjoy being. Anyone can find themselves unemployed and most people who are would rather be working. Scrounger, how am i a scrounger? | |

I was a dole wallah for years mate, loved it, could do what I liked all day long, had enough money to go out when I wanted and so on. Brilliant. That was in the days before they forced you to take crappy jobs for crappy pay or they stopped your dosh. We just had bide our time until the right job came along. There wasn't any shame in it then. It was your entitlement. Especially if you'd been made redundant Grantus. It's different now, it's been made a get out for those who have an alternative agenda. Oh for those innocent times. | |

Dr Buck You are a firstclass coont. When I wasout ofwork I was madeto jump through hoops for £90 a week for me, mrs and daughter. Gas fire was leaking CO2 but got no help there-told to use my daughters christening money which was put in trust for her by her grand mother! You need some proper facts before you spout off- not daily Express propoganda- Oh, and I had a bank account! Seemingly it is not illegal for someone who is out of work to have one. And I wasn't scrounging- I paid into a system which was supposed to look after me when I fell on hard times. This was called income tax, VAT, car purchase tax, insurance tax, fuel tax, road tax and many more that I don,t even know about- people like you make me sick -you @rse ole | |
