Keyboard Help needed

I have a p.c. and laptop both of which have wrong keyboard settings (or whatever) for example if I want to do the @ sign I have to press the key with the arrow pointing up and the no.2 key at the same time. I can't find the sign for a pound (money) one either. Does anyone know how to solve this?

re: Keyboard Help needed

Your windows settings are set to english us. I had the same problem after building a pc.

You need to go into your settings. then control panel and then date/time/language/regional options.

click on regional settings and it should bring up a box that has three tabs regional options languages and advanced. Click on the languages tab and then click on details. Set the default settings to english(united kingdom). Below that it should say installed services. If english(united kingdom) is not there click on the add button and add it in. Then click on delete and delete the english us one.

Hope this helps. If not let me know and i can give you my mobile number and talk you through it.
