Bleeding MP3 players????

So, I have an MP3 player but the instructions don't tell me how to actually get the music from the c.d. to the MP3 player.

It's driving me mental! How do I do it, I thought it was easy as abc, anyone know?

All right clever clogs, you know what I mean. If you don't want to help don't bother replying.

Don't you just hook the lead up to your pc and load up?

It's a piece of piss, DrBuck. Or at least it should be.

First of all you need to turn your CD tracks/songs into mp3s or WMAs. Do this by going into Windows Media Player and looking for the option "Copy Music From CD". The tracks from the CD will then be saved as individual files in a folder somewhere on your comp.

Then plug your mp3 player into your computer, with a USB cable or whatever. Then go to My Computer and find the mp3 player drive (like you would if you had a floppy disk in the computer). Then cut and copy the files you saved from the CD onto the mp3 player drive.

That's how do it.

Ok! the mp3 player should have a program or driver CD included in the box which might have a conversion program on it and for transferring the files across.
When you plug the player into your PC it should just appear as another drive, usually a removable drive as it is basically just a memory chip with a bit of software on it. You will also need to learn how how to order and name your files as the player picks up this info to show on the players display screen.
The boxed software should do this automatically for you.
