| The telephone has rung once.. | |
...since 7:30 this morning. Why are four of us sat at work twiddling our thumbs? Anyone else have to come to work for no reason other than to sit on their backsides?

Same here. Either I've managed to fix every tech issue to do with SAP or nobody else is in. --- Post edited by green_beret20 on 28/12 12:25 ---

As there is only one chick in our office today out of six of us, i've been for a poo in the ladies. Looks different to how i thought it would look. And it smells nice.

i think i get the award for pointless journey, travelled from boro to london to work for 7 hours today, in a gallery that not one person has entered for the past 3 hours.......then i'm, driving back, doh!

I'm off home. 2 calls in 5 hours, both wound up being Server issues, not a network fault to be seen - I suppose I am lucky as I can connect from home via broadband VPN to do 99% of any troubleshooting tasks. So that is what I will do.

My teams just moved to SAP .. what a bugger of a program that is .. !!! I've installed, set to work, trained on, been trained on, all sorts of SW Apps, and programs. BUT, I have never seen anything as complicated and tentacled as SAP.

Well I handle our companies ERP system. That includes almost anything from user profiles to purchase orders. I do bits of BW, HR. At least I've got a tech background but for a system for users with no fundemental knowledge of how databases work its a mare. Plus it looks crap.

SAP - only the Germans could devise a system that is so complex, you need a training course to book a fooking holiday. Just go into personal management, Time Management, select this, put in sub code 2000, click this.....FFS, what happened to point and click?
