Women's feeble excuses???

How does a woman get away with the excuse of not being able to get to work because of a 'terrible hangover'!!!! I know what would happen if I took a day off because of too much booze FFS!

The same woman also took two days off because her dog died! Is this really an acceptable reason? I'll have to bear that one in mind too.

What is the world coming to?

re: Women's feeble excuses???

A hangover is not a valid excuse for missing work. It's self inflicted.

at least saying you've got a hangover is honest, rather than saying 'sickness and diarrhea', which is what most blokes say in the same situation.

Having a dog die is definitely acceptable. 'Family member' who may have been in the family for 10 years dying?

re: Women's feeble excuses???

Yeah Janplanner, that was what her boss said to her. But surely it must be similar to taking time of due to a football injury? Which is not acceptable as it is self-inflicted as George says.

A dog is not related in any way to a human you dick.
