| racial abuse | |
janet street porter has been arrested for racially abusing a neighbour.does this make her a racist?the reason i ask,is because it is well known, that a lot of her previous partners/boyfriends have been coloured.i suppose what i am trying to say do you have to be racist to racially abuse someone?

sorry Jayno you can't use the word "coloured" it's considered racist...

In this context, I think she has to be proven guilty first. Bizarrely, having a black partner wouldn't guarantee she wasn't racist, it might fuel it.

It doesn't say what ethnicity the neighbour was. She may be more prejudiced to some rather than others.

I find that her nasal whinnying offends my ears. I would say 15 years if convincted.

Just to clarify, I meant if she had had a series of bad relationships with black men then it might make her prejudiced against black people (it might not though!)
