Bloke rang up last night; "My two son`s have been Boro season ticket holders for 10 years. They`ve both given up their season tickets cos they are moving abroad. Would you believe there has not been one word from the club? No ones written to say thanks for their loyalty, or been in touch to ask why they haven`t renewed." What did he expect? Gibson to drive round their houses as soon as he noticed they wern`t at the games? Doyle. | |

I actually think it would be in the clubs interest to send a letter to those long term season-ticket holders who don't renew. A brief questionnaire asking the reasons why, may go someway to persuading the club to make decisions in the future that suit the fans. | |

We had three season tickets 2 since the opening of the riverside and a 4 year old white book. We didn't renew the white book because one of us couldn't go anymore and we got a letter at Christmas saying they'd noticed we hadn't renewed and offering some deal on the half season ones. | |

I moved house and they didn't update their database right, so I get two renewal letters each year. One the main renewal thanking me for my support, and then another thanking me for past support and encouraging me to get a season ticket again. | |

He probably writes every week to the Gazette, the police, Ray Mallon and to the Council complaining about something or other. He's probably also a regular on icteesside. KNOB. | |
