I remember reading about it in the gazette, the rocks are heated up and the steaks are cooked on them, at your table, to your liking. | |

I remember now, The Blacksmiths Arms (Swainby), bottom end of the main street near the bridge over the stream. | |

I had one last year. It tasted no different to anyother steak I've had. It's just a gimmic. The main hall in the pub is lovely though. | |

its the blacksmiths arms swainby. They only do the 'cooked on Stone' steaks on a friday and saturday night. Its normmally booked in advance due to its popularity. There is a two week waiting list at the moment unless your are prepared to eat early ie 6pm. Enjoy and let us all know what it was like. | |
