Couldn't believe my luck - managed to get tickets for THE orrible 'Oo (The Who to you) for me and my two sons - Newcastle Arena 25th May - expensive though - total of £237!! Still - I understand its their last tour - can't wait. | |

Nice one J. I got to see them in 1977 at the City Hall for free. As you know we weren't supposed to like them then, so I went along with a cynical chip on my shoulder and was totally blown away. One of the best gigs ever. I think the tickets were about thirty bob then though... | |

Got mine too. Was lucky enough to see them at Leeds University on 17th June last year. Words cannot describe how good it was. | |

I'm a bit of a purist here. I mean, is it really The Who? Are Townshend and Daltrey the essence of The Who? In a way I felt I wasn't really seeing The Who in'77 because Kenny Jones was on the drums, Keith Moon drums for The Who doesn't he? Same with the Pistols, when they played the Rock Garden they had some guy called Sid Vicious on bass! Same goes for a lot of bands I suppose. Then the Fall come along and totally cock-up my theory... | |
