Also Wildcats of Kilkenny at Town hall on the night.

OK fella, just back from Gym hence the long delay. Did you go to the Arse game?

re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

I'm not coming either, thanks for the offer though. Watch yourself near Spalding though, some very rough elements.

re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

calcium, rubidum, phosphorus. things like that you mean?

Sleaford_Socialite Posted on 1/3 14:01
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

Yes, reactive earth metals being the worst offenders. Also called Alkali metals now, although I don't recall this from my high quality Campus schooling.

re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

are those reactive earth metals then?

I'm no Dr Bunsen Honeydew.

re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

lithium
sodium
potassium
rubidium
caesium
francium

re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

I have a scar on my left hand from a burning with a glass rod. That's about all I remember from Mr Fisher's chemistry lessons.

(used to see him going to the match. Parked in the same car park as I used to).

Fridgey and Moses, getting ready...

Link: ..for a nice quiet nite in.

re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

I don't recall the wabbit in the background?

Sleaford_Socialite Posted on 1/3 14:26
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

I had Mr Sutton, we used to call him the undertaker.

the_broken_fridge Posted on 1/3 14:28
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

Mr Sutton?

The name rings a bell. I don't think he taught me mind. I am assuming with the name the Undertaker he looked like death warmed up?

I also had Mr Noddings. And... Some bloke with a beard and a body odour issue who had a class room right on the end, to which a conservatory was once attached.

Sleaford_Socialite Posted on 1/3 14:46
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

erm...not sure, his name came from his demeanor and movements, very similar to the wrestler, and his classroom was always cold, like a morgue. Mr Noddings was/is a tit. I think he was trying to fire into Mrs Hodgson from the English dept. as well.

Can I leave that up?

I think you'll be alright with that.

Happy times in science class. If only I could remember them.

Sleaford_Socialite Posted on 1/3 14:49
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

the classes or the happy time?

I once set Dawn Horseley's shirt on fire with a bunsen burner.

I can't think she would have liked that.

Sleaford_Socialite Posted on 1/3 14:53
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

A well reasoned guess, when she'd put herself out we had 'words', I convinced her it was an accident.

well done there.

Weaseling out of things is an important life skill. See - you did learn something.

re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

Yes, that and how to kill Seagulls (sorry Scuba)

zoec Posted on 1/3 15:01
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

You kill seagulls, Sleaford? How much do you charge?

Sleaford_Socialite Posted on 1/3 15:07
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

I'm retired now really, I could probably still manage though. I think you just need white bread and one of the metals listed above. I think it may appear to be cruel now though. I do however have access to a gun, sadly I use it in the same way that Mikkel Beck used his shooting boots, you wouldn't think I practiced for 10 minutes every year.

zoec Posted on 1/3 15:12
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

Hmmm, I can't see a reactive earth metal doing the job. Feed it to them and they'll probably turn into the Seagull version of the Incredible Hulk. Seagulls are like cockroaches - they'd survive a nuclear winter.

the_broken_fridge Posted on 1/3 15:14
re: FAO Norfolkngood/Fridge/Sleaford

wasps are more likely to survive a nuclear winter than cockroaches - true fact.
