| Tomorrow's game | |
Can't see anything other then a Newcastle victory I'm afraid, I hope I'm wrong and I hope this thread gets hoofed up to the top of the board. They have pace all over the pitch and we always struggle against pace.

Arsenal have FAR, FAR more pace than Newcastle and we've dealt alright with them twice this season. Anyway Dires hamstring is due another "ping" soon.

I know exactly where Cobain is coming from and he makes a valid point. I'm a little edgy meself but think that we have the class to unlock them. Could be a smash n grab.

I hope we don't let Martins get as many opportunities behind our defence as he had in the home game. Looking back, we were quite fortunate they didn't score at least once before we did. We can beat them, but I'd be content with a draw as usual.

Why worry about this game , the geordies are all saying it means nothing to them

Am just thinking about there defence, or in there case lack of it. Yak and Viduka will tear them apart.

i dont think we'll win would be happy with a draw - a bad record at their place and a bad away record point to a newcastle victory hope im wrong regardless, i plan to have a good day out anyway

Have to say I agree with Cobain)94. Not just the pace factor, but also: a) we've only won once away from home all season b) we never, ever beat Newcastle at their place, regardless of how good we are or bad they are c) they always get penalties The only thing that goes in our favour is that I'm not going - it's the first Newcastle/Boro game I've missed in about 7 years so we're bound to win it.
