I can't get my head round how lenient the sentences were. It makes less sense than their disgusting crime. I utterly agree with gatesheadsmog. | |

The last part of that article makes me angrier than the first. It's a sad fact that there's always going to be things like that happening in the world. But those sentences are an absolute disgrace. If only there was a superhero called Justiceman with his trusty sidekick Vigilanteboy who broke into court rooms and beat the sh[t out of people like this as they get read those ridiculous sentences. | |

Liam Bruce, of Colenso Street, was given an 18-month detention and training order; Burnside, of Pine Grove, a 12-month detention and training order; and Neesam, of Waverley Terrace, received two years' supervision with intensive work programmes. Well that'll sort them out. FFS | |

Well as I said a few weeks ago, we're far too lenient with criminals and the courts tend to use overcrowding as a excuse for sentences that are too light. Didn't the country's top judge say last week that 5 years is an adequate sentence for murder? In a couple of years time, Social Services will probably send these yobs on a summer holiday to America or summat. | |

I think you'll find that these scum are more likely to be the ones saying 'balls to the politically correct brigade' rather than being defended by the pc lobby. So it should be balls to the white van man type who's racist, homophobic, anti minority rantings provide excuses for scum like this to do what they do. | |
