Reading/Leeds ticket update Weekend tickets for both festivals are now sold out. Fans who received confirmation and cancellation emails are urged to reapply to See Tickets on 0870 0603 775 quoting their original reference. You've got until 7.30pm today to try again. Probably doesn't help.

They have Red hot chilli peppers this year dont they? Wish I was going now but at least I wont have to sit in a tent in the rain smelling like crap too drunk to think.

Please tell me you're kidding? I've seen FFAF 3 times, once at Newcastle Arena, once at Leeds Fest and once at Download. At Newcastle they were booed, at Leeds they got a mild response and at Download they pretty much cleared the arena, Feeder style from the year before. Never seen them in a smaller venue/ club gig, but they just can't hold a large crowd. I don't even dislike them as a band, I enjoyed the first album and like a few of their other songs, just as a live act the only member of the band who seems to give a sh/t is the bassist (Matt Davies? The singer's brother I think?). I'm sorry, this is just my opinion, and I'm sure as a fan you'll enjoy it, just... I've seen a lot of bands live, and FFAF have nowhere near the quality to break into the top half. NIN, Pumpkins, Chillis... thats who you oughta be excited about, if I were going I would be.

I only ever went to Leeds festival in the days when it wouldn't sell out until the day before - times have changed. I'm just not upto the levels of preparation required to get a ticket nowadays. Not too fussed anyway, but then I haven't even seen the lineup.

Was going to go but seen the tickets sold out, not too bothered. The line up is crap, I'd only be going for Interpol and Arcade Fire anyway. --- Post edited by Cobain_94 on 21/3 21:13 ---

smogatetz - i too am a FFAF fan. but ive not had the pleasure of seeing them live. a band i truely would love to see tho. first album still gets a lot of airtime in the picol household, and the second album is good too

Glippy. I haven't got e-mail confirmation yet either, I'm gonna try 0870 0603 775 tomorrow For my part, I think the headliners are dull, Peppers, Pumpkins and fkin Razorlight(??!!) Horrid. Yet, Arcade Fire, Panic, Biffy, Fall Out Boy are all well worth watching, and the View and Gogol could be interesting, And loads more to add.. Never seen (or heard much) FFAF but I would prefer any band I really wanted to see on a smaller stage not the main one

| re: Leeds Festival | |
I quite like their albums but live they are absolute gash. The drummer has a nasty habit of just screaming down the microphone which totally ruins the experience, shame cos they have some nice songs.
