Dosn't he know you must give Man Utd every 50/50 decision, and a free kick every time Ronaldo falls over. He'll be off the Premiership list for next season if this continues.

THe Yella should have been straight out for the aggresive manner in which Shrek went towards him. But you can't book the little fatty cos he's the golden boy. And WTF is Andy Gray going on about it being a tough decision. Yep on another day Man Utd would have been given 2 penalties today. Both close calls but he got them both right, and he's not falling for Ronaldo's antics either.

Come a long way since his days at Rohm and Haas in Jarrow. A pleasant young fella and a very good referee. If he doesn't play the game though he'll go the way of other good ones. Poll knows how to play 'the game', hence a duffer at the top.

I liked the way he treated Ronaldo, didn't fall for any of his tricks, but he did realise he was getting persistantly fouled as well, and booked Lauren as a result.
