i have tried to install an orange modem on vista,the os did not recognise the modem.orange sent out a new livebox modem,problem is the os says there is an installation in progress.i am assuming this dates back from when i tried to install the previous modem.how can i get rid of this previous installation? | |

Have you tried Start-Settings-Control Panel- Add/Remove Programs? | |

Never used Vista but try going into Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and then end any instances of msiexec.exe | |
