It was just a couple of simple questions Miss Funnyfanny. As that shoite Salford mentioned, coming your way in Aug/Sept and stopping in New York for 2 nights before we depart. We are staying in the New Yorker Ramada, 1 is it a decent area and 2 will there be a chance of a Boro meeting Bar around that area, and Yahoo the dollars a tadge weak at the mo. | |

1. I THINK that hotel's on 34th and 8th - bang in the middle of town. Stumbling distance from Macys (which Mrs Norfolk will enjoy), Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Bldg. Its a very touristy area - all fast food and shops (think Oxford Street) and extremely busy. Lots of pubs and restaurants but you'll find better ones elsewhere in the city. Luckily, you're close to Penn Station so getting around will be a doddle. 2. IF you're in on a Saturday AND the Boro are playing AND the games on telly, then there'll be a gathering in a bar. Give me shout nearer the date and we'll be able to sort something out. By the way, I'd buy dollars now in case the pound slips in a few months.
