EXCELLENT ! A Boro player going live on air to fight for his cause, to fight for a new deal, to fight for the club and to fight for the gaffer. He said that too many players were leaving and being slated for doing so for some reason and that he wouldn't allow that to happen to him. He came on air because someone ( at the club I think he meant ) was trying to destablise him with talk of him going to Saudi which was completely untrue as he most definately wanted to stay. He said he wanted the fans to know that he was the lowest paid player in the club and that this not withstanding he has always fought for the club, the gaffer and the fans. He said he respected the North East and the people as he hasn't forgotten where he came from. Contractor no contract, if I play good or bad I always give 100% because I fight for the cause and this is who I am. It was all this kind of stuff! TB | |

Tony, Skidmark or whatever your name is. There are some negative people on this board, however you are a completely new breed. You take absolute delight in anything that could be twisted, spin or construed to show the club and the coaching staff in a negative light. You do this on this board and also on Vickers blog on a regular basis - in fact I no longer read his blog because you post so much unadulterated shoite on there. You clearly have serious issues with the manager and his coaching staff, and whilst most of us have a good understanding why, your constant whining, maning and bile peddling has quite frankly become distasteful. Either get some new material or just fook off, you odiuos shoite stirring tvvat. | |

Xavier's position is very fragile. He's lucky to have a career at all after his drugs ban and I think he knows he'd find it hard to get another decent club at his age with his reputation. Fighting for a new contract at Boro is his best option and you can't blame him for trying. If I were Southgate, I would only give him one if I couldn't find a quality right back to buy. | |
