If we use the word "allegedly" a few times...

re: If we use the word "allegedly" a few time

As you genuinely seem to be looking at getting Rob in trouble, is there any real reason why he shouldn't ban you, from his point of view??

re: If we use the word "allegedly" a few time

If you don't know what I mean, you must be a bit daft.

If you do know what I mean, you're borderline Boateng_7.

re: If we use the word "allegedly" a few time

Nothing in this thread is libeous in anyway and if you think that then you're abit of a dunce !!!

re: If we use the word "allegedly" a few times...

Ste - just pipe down will you please? I'm not messing around on this. It is fairly serious.

Surely there are a million and one other things to discuss.

captain5 Posted on 19/4 17:01
re: If we use the word "allegedly" a few time

I obviously am.

Trying to add words relating to the subject into your posts or not then??

How hard is it to understand that he's asked you not to discuss it??

Ste_1986 Posted on 19/4 17:01
re: If we use the word "allegedly" a few times...

okay sorry rob i have been warned and i will no longer add to this thread or any other concerning the matter.

ste_north_stand Posted on 19/4 17:04
re: If we use the word "allegedly" a few time

My post was actually half serious. If something (anything) is deemed to be potentially libellous, does including the word "allegedly" when you talk about it cover your your back? Some people yes and some people say no.

morning_roary Posted on 19/4 17:06
re: If we use the word "allegedly" a few time

The serious answer is yes

Of course.

re: If we use the word "allegedly" a few times...

The answer to the central question on this thread is "NO." It may work for Have I Got News For You but I have been told many times that writing "allegedly" doesn't help one little bit. Nor "I heard a rumour that.." etc. They don't give you any protection whatsoever.

Ok, ta.
