davis is another one of those "nothing" type of players. is he a ball winner? is he a playmaker? is he a goalscorer? the term "box to box" is normally used when theyre not particularly good at any of the three | |

Davis has been very important for us this season. True, he doesn't populate the highlight reels, but his contributions allows those around him the freedom to attack at will. That said, I don't see us selling him, so it's all a moot point. Wouldn't surprise me if it's just his agent looking for a better deal..? As for our other players, trust me - you don't want Gary O'Neil these days. He's had an extremely disappointing season after showing so much promise earlier in his career. Matty Taylor is certainly an excellent player, but I doubt Boro would go near him with Downing down the left..? | |

Taylor can play at left back as well, well as far as I know he can anyway. Though it would be confusing having Taylor and Taylor vie for the left back slot... | |
