| Just Got Back From The Ticket Office - Wigan | |
Just been to get tickets for Wigan. I asked how many we`ve sold so far, and as of 9.45am it was just over 1,500. I think that`s very disapointing to be honest. Like others on here i thought we`d come close to selling out our 5000. Mind you, it`s not a huge surprise considering the standard of football being dished up at the moment.

I can't go due to work or i would have but you can't blame people for not being arsed going. Our away performances against the likes of Wigan this season have been pitiful, we've just rolled over and got beaten easily. Can't really see that changing the way we're playing at the moment and the fact that Wigan need the points.

It will be interesting to see what the crowd is for the last match, assuming we are still not mathematically safe from relegation by then. More to the point, if we are safe, then I'd guess it could be <20K.

Might be a few Fulham fans to boost the attendance.

unless you think 3000 season ticket holders arent going to bother going to the Fulham game i very much doubt it will be less than 20000. coupled with Fulham probably bringing a few 1000 up for a change as they may need to win to stay up i think it will be above 30k.

I think that the fact must of us know we will just lay down and die as Wigan will want it more has put a lot of people off. I'm expecting a performance in the mould of Watford and West Ham. Hope i'm wrong! Fantastic of Wigan though to charge the prices that they have. Hope they stay up but get the result they need after the week-end!

I think most of us just want to be completely safe from relegation, and then draw a line under the season. Like most people, I think it's been disappointing. We have had some good results, but we've had far more bad ones, and our record against the bottom teams is very poor. I think that if we get a point at Wigan - which I have to say seems very unlikely - then people will do something else on the last day of the season. We've all seen that we can compete against the best when we are motivated, but the games against Villa, West Ham, Man City and half of the Spurs game show us that the players aren't motivated.

Id like to think our performance will be a la charlton at the valley - our one success on the road to date. But then my middle names are opti mist
