Meet Your Boro Heroes At Gala Dinner

Got this on Wednesday - so you would have to ring up and check first.

THERE'S still time to book a table at Middlesbrough Former Players Association's gala dinner this Sunday, alongside stars including Jack Charlton, John Hendrie, Rolando Ugolini and Stuart Boam.

Tickets for the Association's second dinner at the Tall Trees in Yarm are still on sale.
A host of Boro legends from the 1950s, 60s, 70, 80s and 90s will be there to meet supporters and talk about the old days while current stars are also being invited.
Also confirmed to attend are Terry Cochrane, Billy Day, John Craggs, Arthur Fitzsimons, Willie Whigham and Derek McLean, plus many more.

The event takes place on Sunday (May 6) and will raise money for MFPA, which helps former players in need and also assists local charities.
A three-course dinner will be followed by an auction of football memorabilia.
Host for the evening will be Century FM's Boro commentator Alastair Brownlee and a special cabaret will include TV impersonator and Boro fan Kevin Connelly and comedian Mickey Gunn.
The demand for tickets is expected to be overwhelming as almost 600 attended the association's inaugural dinner in 2005.
MFPA has only been in existence for a few years but has already provided valuable help to charities and ex-Boro stars.
Two major donations have been made to Middlesbrough Disabled Supporters Association helping fund their minibus, which takes loyal fans to games throughout the country and beyond.
Local charities Teesside Hospice, Butterwick Children's Hospice and Zoe's Place all received substantial sums following a series of highly successful fundraising events and a presentation was held at the Riverside, pictured above.
MFPA chairman Alan Peacock, who represented England as a Boro striker at the 1962 World Cup, said: "We're delighted to support these local charities, which do so much good work on Teesside."
Former Boro stars John Craggs and Billy Horner, pictured above, Peter Bryan and John Mahoney are among those who have been given a helping hand, often to help with injuries sustained during their playing careers.
The group also helps hundreds of ex-Boro players spanning the Ayresome Park and Riverside eras keep in touch with each other and former stars make regular appearances at home matches, where they relish the chance to talk about old times.
Tickets for the dinner cost 35 each or 350 for a table of 10. Cheques will not be cashed until one week before the event.
The dress code is lounge suits and the time is 6.30pm for 7.30pm.
Please make cheques playable to Middlesbrough Former Players Association and forward them to Hilary Maddren, Townend Farm, Elton, Stockton-on-Tees TS21 1AG.
