12th Man Zoe's Place Night Tomorrow

Don't forget the 12th man Zoe's Place fundraiser tomorrow.

FUNDRAISING AND AWARENESS NIGHT

Independent Boro Fans’ Movement, the Twe12th Man would like to announce details of their latest awareness and fundraising event – a Quiz and Karaoke Night - to be held on Friday 11th May 2007 at the Eston and Normanby Social Club, 30 High Street, Eston.

The event will be the Groups’ 3rd major fundraising event after the highly successful Big Boro Quiz Night, held last November at the Falcon in Hilton, and the more recent Twe12th Man Race Night at the National Reserve and Patriotic Club in Thornaby.

Both these events raised substantial funds for the Twe12th Man in support of their ongoing campaign designed to enhance and develop the matchday atmosphere at the Riverside Stadium. Though just as importantly, the events have raised funds for Middlesbrough Football Club’s nominated charity The Teesside Hospice. The Quiz and Karaoke event is a similar joint benefit night, this time on behalf of Zoe’s Place.

The night kicks off at 8pm sharp and tickets are only £1 on the door. There will be a number of Boro themed raffle prizes on offer and a star prize for the quiz winners. It promises to be a cracking Friday night out in support of a very worthwhile cause and should also provide a fun end to the closing weekend of the Twe12th Man’s debut season.

Middlesbrough Supporting Fans and local businesses interested in helping with Twe12th Man projects should contact Geoff Thomas via email at contactus@twe12thman.co.uk or visit the groups’ website at www.twe12thman.co.uk.

re: 12th Man Zoe's Place Night Tomorrow

Support this event and you support Zoe's Place.

Was told last night that Teesside Hospice has to raise an incredible £1m every year to keep going - totally 100% reliant on public generosity. The money raised in buckets for Teesside Hospice at the last league game would have kept it going for just one day!!

I'm sure Zoe's Place will be in a similar boat - so apart from supporting 12th man your pennies are of vital help to our children's hospice.

re: 12th Man Zoe's Place Night Tomorrow

Does all the money go to Zoe's place, or does half of it go towards paying for a new flag or some other novel idea?
