Richard Liburd was the defensive Peter Crouch of 1993.

He gave hope to every knock knee'd gangly unco-ordinated hopeless fooker who wanted to be a footballer.

I remember being at his debut, I think it was away to notts County (may have been Alan Moore's as well) he played really well that day. He seemed a very arrogant player considering his ability, but I liked him, anyway.

Edit, i may be getting my Notts Couties mixed up, as Alan Moore may have been a year later or so?
