Georgian Theatre yesterday

£9 in and worth every penny. Every single act was brilliant, Elaine Palmer was the pick of them I thought. Some wonderful fingerpicking and singing.

Hope they do things like that more often, I'll go on my own next time if they do I think without drunken mates in tow.

Can someone post up the lineup so I can listen to more of their stuff. Are most of them local?

£9?

I hope you got chicken in a basket with that.

Gill I pay £390 a year to watch Boro. £9 for a night of good music in a relaxed atmosphere is nothing.

Relaxed atmosphere too?

No fight's?

Things have changed since I used to go gigging.

Well I nearly ended up punching my best mate if that counts but I think everyone else in there wanted to as well.

Great acoustics in there.

Saw Willard Grant Conspiracy last year and they all stood in a round in the middle of the floor and played a few songs without mics.

Great stuff!!

re: Georgian Theatre yesterday

It was a great evening, just a bit of a shame how little time some of the acts were onstage, especially Ben Wetherill. Elaine Palmer was great as always and I was also very taken by Pictish Trail, especially when he was joined by Kenny Creosote. Jo Foster was really good too.

Here's the lineup, but not in the order they appeared. I missed a few somewhere in the middle because we had to seek out sustenence, or I think I might've collapsed.

Picktish Trail
Benjamin Wetherill
Beth Jeans Houghton Booger Red
Bibles Of Twang
Major Dawson
Jo Foster
Chris Duggan
Sal Paradise
Elaine Palmer
King Creosote
