The Who on Jools Holland

Apparently Townshend and Daltrey had another one of their tedious arguments over what songs to play and both took a paddy. Get the managers/lawyers involved. How old are these people?

Hasn't anyone wondered why Townshend does all the talking when they play live, whilst Daltrey skulks in the background until he can do what he's good at?

re: The Who on Jools Holland

The official reason is Daltry had a sore throat, but i wouldn't be surprised if your reason is the right one. However, it seems to be Pete who's been the awkward bugger on this tour - he refuses to travel with the rest of the band, has a seperate dressing room etc.

The fact is they have never really been good buddies. Townshend is the art-school intelectual whilst Daltry is a geezer.
