FAO The_Lizards_Jumpers

Well, what did you think?

Absolutely fantastic, brilliant venue and easily the best gig I've ever been to although it was more akin to a musical than a "gig".

First half he and all his band were covered in glittery broaches and stripes, second half he had lederhosen on.

For the encore he came back in in a dressing gown and played a couple of songs by himself without the band.

He then sat down put his earrings, make up and high heels on, removed his dressing gown to reveal stockings and suspenders and proceeded to do "Get Happy" with the band all in dinner suits dancing for him.

As I say absolutely brilliant, and only spoilt by Mrs Jumpers getting a migraine in the second half and throwing up all the way home.

He's on the front cover of Attitude (gay magazine from all good newsagents) this month too.

Brilliant, I'm so glad he lived up to your expectations. You certainly won't forget it in a hurry. I went to see Tosca at York Opera House last night but all the way through I kept thinking "Oooh, this is the first place I saw Rufus..."

Here's hoping for another UK tour later in the year. Still gutted I missed out at The Old Vic.
