My p.c. has began to run really, really, really slow and I can't do anything with it cos all the programmes take hours to load up. How can I get it into safe mode? Any tips? Thanks. | |

to get in safe mode, press F8 just afterthe BIOS Screen - where it shows you the memory, cpu details etc. you can then choose safe mode from the list. you probably need to do 3 things: 1: virus scan + fix 2: spyware scan and fix 3: disk defrag hope that helps | |

Cheers Reverend, but I've done all of them things with no joy. And when I press the f8 key the p.c. freezes and I have to restart it. | |
