| SKY+ tech help NEEDED! | |
Just watching a proggy on my sky+ when it went off and a screen came on asking for my pin. I don't have a pin, never needed one before. I heard somewhere that if you put in 1111 it bypasses or resets this. Tried that, didn't work. Says I have two more chances to enter pin before it locks the system!! HELP | |

Just ring sky mate! I had the same problem and the pin was set up bloody ages and ages ago! | |

Thought your pin was the last 4 numbers on your sky card. | |

Tech support Sky+ 08705 800 800 General enquiries 08702 40 40 40 - They should be able to tell you. PIN is a pain - needed to stop minors from watching unsuitable films - only 2 adults in our house but when I asked sky how it could be disabled as we have no need for it i was told it can't. Have to put it in every time! | |

0870 numbers are a rip off, try this link it gives you the geographic number of most companies including Sky. Will save you a few bob especially as they always put you on hold for a while. | |

I think if you press the Services button, press Number 5 - System details and look for your serial number, the pin is the last four numbers of the serial number. I think. | |
