| Beware Of Whizz Air | |
Just a quick word of warning to anyone booking up with Whizz Air from Teesside To Warsaw. We all know that the advertised prices are never the ones you pay due to taxes, but even so this is steep. I booked 2 tickets, outward at 99p, return at £4.99. Great. However, as well as the taxes, there is a £10 fee for using your credit/debit card (err....how else do you pay via the web?) which means that although the flights only came to £11.96, the total cost is £92.74 including card fee and taxes. Sure, still reasonably cheap for a weekend away for 2 people, but not quite the bargain it looks at first. I believe there are moves afoot in the commons to make Airlines advertise the TOTAL cost of the flights, which i think will be a good thing.

Use SkyScanners.co.uk who give you the price including all the extras.

Look at it this way, if 2 people approached you and said, there's £100....take us to Warsaw and back. What would you say? It costs more than that to get to London on the train 1 way!!! --- Post edited by London_Boro on 28/6 13:13 ---

As i say, it`s still a good price, i just feel you should be told of the full cost up front. It`s bit like a supermaket asking 10p for a tin of beans, then when you get to the checkout they add tax, and a card fee and ask for a £1.

We normally use easyJet, but booked with Ryanair for the summer. I was a bit shocked to find that they charge you for your luggage! Never had that with any other airline. It sticks the cost up AFTER you have had the total price. Not impressed!

north_stand I used a debit card, but they still charge you a tenner for it. This isn`t made clear until the final stage, once you`ve confirmed your flight.

I thought I'd got a 2 week all inclusive cruise round the caribbean for £85 each for me and my lady, but when I came to pay they wanted £92 each because of some hidden "fuel charge" on the flight over there. Yeah right. I told them to shove it. Aint no bottomless pit ya know!!
