re: Sky live games

What a strange time for SKY to announce their games, midnight on a Sunday (assuming they've only just been published?).

I'm glad the Wigan away game is on though. It was a bit of a wasted good away trip being stuck in midweek.

Aug
Wednesday 15th: Wigan v Middlesbrough 8pm

Sept
Sunday 30 Everton v Middlesbrough 4pm

I fear you might be right about stupid kick-offs for us on PP and Setanta.

there is no PP anymore

So Setanta is doing ALL the PPV stuff now? It's hard to keep up.

Not one monday night game in that lot

Hang about, Setanta have published them too (see link).

Home to Geordies moved to 1.30pm on the Sunday for Setanta, and looks like that's it so far.

They seem to have a mix of Sat 5.15pms, Sunday 1.30pms, and Monday night games.

It's so great how they broke that SKY monopoly on games, so now instead of paying 50 quid a season for the PPV games on SKY, you have to pay 120 quid a season for Setanta Sports instead. Isn't choice wonderful.

I don't understand Everton V Middlesbrough being on Sunday September 30th. Thats a massive fixture change. It was meant to be May 11th.

Also, we are meant to be playing them at home on Saturday 6th October. That's the following weekend.

Correct me if I'm wrong but:

According to Sky. Live game: Saturday, Sept 29: Man City v Newcaste, 12.45.

According to MFC fixtures: Saturday, Sept 29: Man City v Boro, 3:00

Who's right?

MFC Site gives details of Boro's fixture changes. Good thing is we are now at home for the final game of the season.

The Boro site now says that our game against Citeh scheduled for new years day will now be played on May 11 so who do we play on New Years day?..

Everton.

Lots of fixtures changed round to accomodate the UEFA final at City of Manchester Stadium.

Just seen that we now play Everton at home on New years day.

re: Sky live games

it's all to do with man city holding UEFA cup final, their rules state that ground cant be used 10 days before the final so the man city and everton games have been moved about.

re: Sky live games

The upshot of all this is that we've now got a good run in - last 4 games - Bolton h, Sunlan a, Pompey h, Man City h.
